I am a computational scientist and engineer based in New York City.
I use imaging, computer vision, and coarse-grained modeling and simulations to study how living organisms sculpt functional 3D structures through choreographed pattern generation across scales—work that aims to guide the design and control of engineered living systems.
My most recent work is focused on spatiotemporal patterning of cell geometry and its links with tissue mechanics and material properties in developing neuroepithelial tissues.
